Day 1 Arrive in Cape Town. “…..The most stately thing, the fairest Cape we saw in the whole world circumference of the earth…” is how Sir Francis Drake described the Cape of Good Hope in 1580. You will be met and transferred by private car to your Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. After a marvelous evening meal, retire to prepare tomorrow's adventures. Mount Nelson Hotel (Super Gold) Day 2, Cape Town Scenic City Tour (private car) Your introduction to the Cape begins at lush Kirsten Bosch Gardens. Continue to the Malay quarter and up Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the ocean and city (if weather permits). A visit of Jewelry shops in and around Cape Town is also included. The afternoon, on your own, shop at V & A Waterfront or perhaps take an optional trip to Robben Island. (B) Overnight at your Hotel. Mount Nelson Hotel (Super Gold) Day 3, Cape Town, Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope (private car) A private car and driver is at your service, for a visit of the famous Cape of Good Hope, poised at the tip of the continent. Travel along the scenic Atlantic Ocean Coast en route to Hout Bay. On arrival there’s an opportunity for a cruise to Seal Island (payable locally). Travel onwards to the splendor of Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve - said to be the meeting place of two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian. Return to your hotel is via Boulders Beach where there is a chance to see a colony of Penguins, and to visit the small town of Simon’s Town. In the evening dinner is at Africa Café where you will enjoy a selection of Africa’s best dishes. (B,D) Overnight at your Hotel. Mount Nelson Hotel (Super Gold) Day 4, Cape Town/Stellenbosch (60 kms) This morning your hired car will be delivered at your hotel. Head out of the Cape Town for the scenic Winelands. The entire day is yours to explore - enjoy the many internationally acclaimed wines and relax in the friendly ambience of the area. Later make your way to the charming town of Stellenbosch, where you will be staying overnight. (B) Overnight at your Hotel. Village At Spier Hotel - Villas (Super Gold) Day 5, Stellenbosch Day at leisure to explore and enjoy many facilities of Stellenbosch or surrounds. Alternatively make your way to Franschhoek, meaning, “French Corner” one of the most beautiful valleys of the Winelands. Overnight at your Hotel. Village At Spier Hotel - Villas (Super Gold) Day 6, Stellenbosch/ Madikwe Game Reserve Your flight, via Johannesburg, takes you across the country to Mateya safari Lodge, a luxurious lodge with a diverse and rich eco-system, in Madikwe Game Reservs situated in the North West Province.
