For
every booking processed we make a donation to Jacob’s Well Home,
Place of refuge for Aids orphans. 12 million African children have
already lost one or both parents to Aids. The
AIDS epidemic is sweeping across the continent of Africa
at an alarming rate. Southern Africa now has the highest
concentration of infection in the world. AIDS creates orphans. Many of these orphans were themselves born with HIV. There are over 850,000 AIDS orphaned children in South Africa at present. This Figure continues to increase on a daily basis along with an alarming rise in abandonment of newborns. Jesus cares deeply about these Children. Many
are desperately hungry and without food. We are responding to this crisis in our own way.
Jacob’s
well is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation, based in Iowa,
5645 NW 55th, Johnston, IA 50131, operating in White River and South Africa.
This ministry for Aids orphaned and abandoned babies and
children is governed by a board of directors in Iowa. Their US based organization consists of: David Houck- President David Reese- Vice President Paul Menzel- Treasurer Margaret Houck- Secretary Jeff Joachims- Board Member Jacob’s
Well in South Africa is situated in White River, a stone throw away
from the booming Kruger National Park. In South Africa our Management Committee

JACOB’ WELL Jacob’s Well is a home for
orphaned/abandoned infants. At present it is set up to receive
children ages 0-6. Many of these children will test HIV positive.
These infants will be cared for by trained day and nighttime staff
until such time as they are fostered or adopted. David and Margaret
Houck and those working with them have received a burden from the
Lord to be His hands of healing, His arms of comfort, His love
freely given in a tangible, practical way. They desire to make
Jacob's Well a place that all people would recognize the love of
Jesus. And if any of these little ones should go home to Jesus, they
desire that it would be no strange place to them! Achievements Jacob’s Well has had several children
through the center which they have so far had a 100% success rate in
finding them homes. All of the children that have left Jacob’s
Well have left much more healthy and confident then when they
arrived. As with all ministries of our nature some of our children
have passed away. But we do know this; they truly experienced love
and affection before they left us Projects - Goals and needs They are hoping to break ground for a
hospital/clinic to be able to work with older children and adults in
Mpumalanga (Their Province in South Africa). They have set
aside eleven hectares for this purpose. They are also in need of a
multi-passenger vehicle to take the children on outings such as day
trips, visiting family members and trips to the clinic. This vehicle
will cost in the area of between $20,000 and $30,000. Invitation If you are interested in visiting

cottage set up for people who would be interested in supporting or
just plain finding out more about Jacob’s Well. All they need is
